Below is a map showing the performance of all teams in each American professional sports teams that
either had a season with the worst overall record or best overall record in their league. Data was manually
compiled for each league and then wrangled together using python.
The larger and greener a city's ring is, the more successful its teams have been over the 50-plus
years of data represented by the map. The opposite is true for the red rings. A best-worst differential
of zero is shown in grey.
You can click on any ring to see the city name and the team 'score',
which is how I tracked best and worst finishes. A team score of '2', for example,
means that the city had 2 more first place finishes than last place finishes.
